Ballot Dates 2019 Mt Biggs School

Each year, applications for enrolment in the following year from in zone students will be sought by a date which will be published in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school. This will enable the Board to assess the number of places that can be made available to students who live outside the home zone. Each term, a ballot is held at Mount Biggs School. A ballot is used when expressions of interest exceed available spaces. The ballot is held the term before your child is due to start at our school.

Due to current numbers we will not be balloting students in Term 3 for Term 4 2020.

If there are more applicants in the second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth priority groups than there are places available, selection within the priority group will be by a ballot conducted in accordance with instructions issued by the Secretary under Section 11G (1) of Education Act 1989.

You will be notified via email whether or not your child has been successful in the ballot.
