My name is Kyle Harris, and I am incredibly proud to be the principal of Mount Biggs School. It is my pleasure to welcome you to our kura and the Mount Biggs whānau.

Mount Biggs School is a vibrant rural school located approximately 7 km from Feilding and 4 km from Mount Stewart, Whakaari, at the corner of Mount Stewart-Halcombe Road and Sandon Road. Surrounded by picturesque farmland, our peaceful setting provides a wonderful environment for children to learn, explore, and thrive. We take great pride in our rural heritage and the strong, supportive connections we have with our community.

Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff work tirelessly to make our kura an exciting, safe, and inclusive place for all children. We understand that every child is unique, with their own interests and passions. Our teachers are creative and innovative practitioners, always striving to enhance their teaching and learning programmes to meet the diverse needs of our students. Likewise, our support staff are an integral part of Mount Biggs School, providing invaluable assistance that helps make our school a truly special place.

We are fortunate to have an exceptionally supportive community who generously give their time and energy to help in many ways. Our Home and School committee works hard to raise funds for the school, including organizing the local Tough Kid Challenge — an event that brings over 800 children from schools across Manawatū to our grounds each year. We are immensely grateful for the strong relationships we share with our community and deeply appreciate the ongoing support they provide.
