Kia ora koutou, my name is Kyle Harris and I am exceptionally proud to be the principal of Mount Biggs School. It is my pleasure to welcome you to our kura and the Mount Biggs whānau.

Mount Biggs School is a vibrant rural school situated approximately 7km from Feilding and 4 km from Mount Stewart, Whakaari, on the corner of Mount Stewart - Halcome Road and Sandon Road. We are surrounded by farmland. This provides a fantastic peaceful location for our children to enjoy and learn in. We are very proud of our rural heritage and the strong connections we have with our community. 

We have a dedicated team of teachers and support staff who all work incredibly hard to make our kura an exciting, fun, and safe place for all children. We understand that every child is unique and has different interests and passions. Our teachers are very creative and innovative practitioners. They are always focused on developing and enhancing their teaching and learning programmes to meet the needs of all children. Our support staff are an integral part of Mount Biggs School. The work and support they provide are vital in making this a great school for everyone.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a very supportive community who willingly help in any way possible. Our Home and School committee works incredibly hard to raise funds for the school. They run the local Tough Kid Challenge every year where we host over 800 children from school across the  Manawatū. We are very proud of the strong relationships we have with the community and appreciate the assistance they give us.
