Kia ora, it is a great privilege to be part of the team at Mount Biggs School.
It is an exciting opportunity to be part of our forward thinking, dynamic school team in wonderful learning spaces. The school’s values to Care - Respect - Cooperate and Strive both within and beyond the four walls of the classroom exemplify the people that are a part of our Mount Biggs team, as Teachers, Support Staff and wider whanau.
I look forward to continuing the wonderful past efforts from all staff and am excited about the next steps in the long history of Mount Biggs School.

Kia ora, my name is Claire and I am thrilled to be teaching at Mount Biggs School.
I grew up in Feilding and live here with my husband, and our daughter.
For my first 4 years I have was teaching in Whanganui and I am really enjoying the many changes that being at Mt Biggs brings and being part of the school community.
Kia ora. My name is Theresa. I started at Mount Biggs School in term 3 2018 and thoroughly enjoy being a part of the community. As an experienced junior teacher, I am motivated and believe that I would make a valuable contribution to the continued growth and progress of Mount Biggs School. I believe in developing children’s abilities to learn for themselves, through play based learning. This way of learning allows for curiosity and creativity in a natural and authentic way. I believe this way of learning also empowers students to take ownership of their learning.
Kia ora. My name is Rowan. I have been coming Mount Biggs School for 5 years to drop off my children and now I get to stay and be part of a wonderful teaching team.
I have taught all ages but am loving the opportunity to focus on the Junior Learners in my Year 2/3 class.
I believe that the most important job of a teacher is to build a child's confidence as a learner and help them to challenge themselves.
Teacher Aids: We also have two very capable Teacher Aids supporting our Tamariki.
